A P-7DX of Mizuho Comm. under battery charging.
Now, only small number of ham operators must remember this CW dedicated input 1-watt machine.
Speaker, keyer circuit, 1.2 V x8 Ni-MH batteries and V meter are added to form an all-in-one unit.
The right is the operation record of 2024 April and May by using an helical antenna, wound about 20 m long enameled wire on a 3.5 m long fishing rod, mounted on my car.
Though this is the model of more than 30 years old, the chemical capacitors are not changed.
Still, it works great.
763. Namegawa Kannon Niou-mon#1
Niou-mon at Namegawa, Narita.
The arms of the left and right Niou look like round logs, to give a blunt impression.
I guess that the Buddhist image sculptor made the arms look weird on purpose.
Niou-mon#1
Niou means two guardians standing at temple gates.
Mon means gate.
762. ANA A380 underside
A shot just below the craft with the picture of sea turtle family. At Hasunuma close to Katagai port.
The JA382A on the wing indicates the 2nd unit, i.e. the body with the livery of drooping-eye turtles in emerald-green.
761. Katagai fishing port
Quiet Katagai fishing port at the year-beginning.
This calm time and space are the proof of the gratitude toward the deities who bring the catches.
The right shows a big-catch flag flying at the nearby seaside station.
760. Mozu
A shrike on the way home from the usual bicycle path.
It was singing, ru, ru, ru, - -.
Instantly judging "It is off guard",
I quickly jumped off the bike for this shot.
It was a male.
While, when it shrieks with a high-pitched tone, ki-, ki-,
it flies away, no matter how I try quietly to point the lens.
(well, looks I wrote this before)
It took ten years for me to realize this habit. Practice is everything.
Out of focus or camera shake, or both?
Surely not the best.
HOWEVER, "Hand-held Snapshot", HH/SS, is life. Who cares?
First of all, its eyes are cute, despite its predator nature. Aren't they?
